Off their 2007 launching Mirrors “ Atlas ” was Battles ’ lead single with an addictively primal beatnik , crazy instrumentation , and some seriously , seriously bizarre vocals . The album reading clock in at seven minutes , with some vamping you might consider to be “ excessive , ” but the euphony video provide a peachy abridged variant , and it ’s also just amazing to take in .
