Coco Gauffis finding an advantage in keeping her personal life to herself.
She added, “And I think that’s just the beauty of it all, that people still know me and know parts of me, but not everything. So I do feel like my life is a little bit in my hands too.”
So while the tennis pro isprone to jumping off buildingsfor fun — and posting the proof on Instagram — she’s also one to take a step back and process it all too.
In November, she reflected on her 2023 — one which was full of ups (see US Open) and downs.
“2023 season is officially over. hard to sum [up] this season in a few words,” she wrote at the time — two days after her season ended with a hard loss to the U.S.’s Jessica Pegula in the semifinal round of the WTA Finals.

Yet Gauff has occasionally offered glimpses into her life with her family and friends.
Last September, after her historic Grand Slam win, Gauff celebrated the moment with her loved ones in her hometown of Delray Beach, Florida.
“Me n only SOME of my favorite people 💖” the athletewrote on Instagramalongside a carousel of happy photos.
And before her epic win in the New York tournament, Gauff shared that she spoke to a special someone for support.
“Honestly, I didn’t have any of those visions [of winning] till last night,” she told reporters after her win. “You know, I thought about it, but I told myself to get it out of my head, because that’s what I did at [the] French [Open]. I was envisioning, you know, what would happen if I would win. I think I wanted it too much.”
“Last night, I started a little bit, but honestly, I just called my boyfriend, and I told him let’s talk until it’s time to go to sleep so we spoke until 1:00 a.m. and then I went to sleep.”
