With a concept as joyfully convoluted as Emissary , there really is n’t much middle ground between success and loser ; either these guys nail it , or it will live on as one of the most stunningly idiotic failures in science fiction story . consider the originative squad , I ’m promising it ’s the former and not the latter … If nothing else , it ’s operose to suppose something that is so clearly and unashamedly a labor of sexual love could ever be simply mediocre .
