EW reportsthat Chilean actorPedro Pascalhas been cast as Oberyn Martell , the Dornish prince who make it in King ’s Landing seeking revenge . Pascal has of late appeared on Graceland as Juan Badillo and Red Widow as Jay Castillo . EW shares this note about the casting from the showrunners :
“ This was a tough one , ” say showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss about the cast . “ The Red Viper is sexy and charming , yet probably dangerous ; intensely likable , yet driven by hate . The son love him , the girls love him , and he know them all back . Unless your last name is Lannister . We found a fellow who can manage the job verbal description and make it seem effortless .
