It ’s a unearthly time to be aFitbituser . Google has stopped sell Fitbit devices in key markets around the world . The company softly pull in several model of its fittingness - centric wearables from store shelves in countries across several continents .
I contacted Google and find a like reply from a spokesperson :
We communicate that we will stop sell Fitbit products in select countries to line up our hardware portfolio to represent closer to Pixel ’s regional availability . We remain committed to our customers and have not made any changes that touch the subsist Fitbit equipment they already own . Existing Fitbit client will continue to have access to the same client support , warrant will still be honored , and products will continue to have software and surety updates .

Fitbit promises to remain supporting the gadget still in use with software system exit and security updates , admit honor warranties . Anyone who needs extra supporter can still call Fitbit customer service .
Anyway , this all has an air travel of messiness that I can not ignore . Since Google’sacquisitionof Fitbit , it ’s been onehead - scratcherafter another . Google is still figuring out its footing for this brand and how it align with its destination for the Pixel lineup .
I ’m still working on my reviews of thePixel Watch 2andFitbit Charge 6 . I can only expend one machine with my account at a time . So far , I care thePixel Watch 2 , but it ’s because of the unseamed experience between the smartwatch and the Pixel phone in tandem . With all these change happening abroad with Fitbit ’s product batting order , I ’m curious how theCharge 6will appeal to me , an Android user who is used to a wearable being the reference of an operating system rather than an accessory .
