Halle BerryandHalle Baileyare treating their social media followers to a dosing of double Halle.
On Monday, the two actresses shared a picture of themselves posing together at a recent Major League Soccer game to their respectiveInstagramaccounts and cleverly commented on the similarities between their two names.
“When two Halles link up 🤍 truly adore you @hallebailey,” Berry, 57, wrote in the caption to her post, which included two photos of the women smiling together and a third image of the pair hugging as a soccer match played out in the background.
Bailey, 23, left a sweet comment to her fellow Halle on the post, writing, “i was living for this moment!! thank you for being so kind to me you’ve made my life 😭💕💕🥰”
The Little Mermaidstar also shared photos from her meeting with Berry to herInstagram Storyon Monday, writing in a caption to one snapshot of the two embracing, “can u tell i’m freaking out 😭😭 💕💕.”
Bailey has commented on how closely her name resemblesAcademy Award-winner Berry’s in the past. “Yes, well my family,we’ve always loved Halle Berry. I mean, she’s amazing,” she said during a May 2023 appearance onLive with Kelly and Mark, after hostsKelly RipaandMark Consuelosasked about Bailey’s almost-namesake.

“And they they ultimately decided Halle, and it’s very similar to Halle Berry,” she added. “But there’s no one else I would rather have a similar name to cause she’s so cool.”

Berry and Bailey’s recent MLS outing did not make for the first time the two stars have met in person. The pair met at the 95th Academy Awards ceremony in March 2023, whenboth actressesappearedat various points in the broadcast.
“She was so kind to me. I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I love you!’ " Bailey said of meeting Berry onLive with Kelly and Markin May of last year. “She’s been alwaysreally supportive to me over social media, so we’ve had a few inbox interactions but that was my first time meeting her. And she’s like, an angel.”
