Hasbro’s NewSkeleton CrewFigures Are Full of Cute Kids and Plastic Jude Law

Star Warsfandom might still be reeling fromthe surprise lossof the last live - natural process seriesThe Acolyte , but such is the nature of TV in the Galax urceolata far , far away these days that we ’re already moving on to the next one . Skeleton Crewiscoming this winter , and of class , again such is the nature ofStar Wars , there ’s a shipload of new toys issue forth to accompany its going .

Over the weekend at New York Comic - Con , Hasbro officially unveiled its plans for a wave of action mechanism figures inspired by the upcoming Jon Watts serial , which follows a grouping of young kids as they detect themselves whisk away from their home planet and into adventures alongside a mysterious military force user named Jod Na Nawood , played by Jude Law . All four primary kids , as well as Nawood ( and one particularlymean search villainthat we ’ll get to in a bit ) will feature in the initial wave of release .

The fry — KB , Neel , Wim , and Fern — all get along with a litany of extra accessory befitting kid going on a big galactic adventure : removable backpacks , torch , binoculars , and not a single chargeman pistol in sight ( they ’re kids , of course they ’re not packing high temperature ! ) .

They pull through that in the wave for the activity figures of the adults , who are carrying more than enough blasters for everyone . Nawood ( who also has a removeable headscarf ) acquit a blaster that looks more like a flintlock pistol than anything we ’ve seen inStar Warsbefore , but it ’s the mystic Pirate Captain Brutus who ’s really disposed for a firefight . The Shistavanen pirate come withfiveblasters , to dual wield in his hands , have in the holster at his waist , or even slot into the bandoleer across his chest . Maybe he ’s compensating for something , but hopefully none of our new heroes in reality postulate him that during the show .

Star Wars : Skeleton Crewbegins cyclosis on Disney+ on December 3 — and likeThe Acolytebefore it , Hasbro is hoping that it ’ll have action figures on ledge in time for the show to start some time this Fall .
