Ice-Tis proud of the way his wife has flourished as a mom.
“Coco is super mom,” he praises. “We have no nannies. She doesn’t do that.”
The actor explains that while some women think “you’ve got to go out to work,” it isn’t any “less of a job to be a mother.”
“If you’re fortunate enough to be able to stay home with your kids, it’s the most incredible and most admirable thing you can do, is raise a child,” he says. “So don’t let no woman make you feel any kind of way. Do that job. So she picks Chanel up, goes to school, brings her back, takes her to Kung Fu, takes her to all that stuff.”

“Coco’s super mom. She didn’t ever think she was going to be a super mom — it just happened,” he continues.
Meanwhile, Dad doesn’t mind taking care of the discipline, though he notes, “She doesn’t require too much discipline.”
“And I will never ever feel any kind of way about that. That’s the most beautiful thing because that’s my most important thing, my daughter,” he adds.
For the holidays, the family of three will be heading to Arizona. “Coco’s family’s there. My son’s in LA. My daughter’s in Atlanta, so we all merge on Arizona.”
The rapper chatted with PEOPLE in October about co-hostingA&E’sHip Hop Treasuresand opened up about how people shouldn’t expect from his family what they’d expect from an “average” family.
“We do our parenting,” he said. “I think the thing of it is, it’s Ice-T and Coco. Our parenting is a lot different than the normal, square couple from Oklahoma. I’m a f—ing rock star, it’s different.”
“We’re like the Osbournes,” he leveled. “We have a different dynamic in our house. But it’s not harmful. That’s the main thing. It’s us.”
