Kate Middletonstylishly arrived at theRoyal Variety Performance.

Kate completed the look with a pearl earring and bracelet set, sparkly clutch and teal heels.

She also wore her hair in a new way, rocking a bouncy blowout (long her signature style) with hernew curtain bangsfor the first time. The Princess of Wales has previously styled her fringe, which she debuted in September, withtighter curlsortwisted chignons.

The Princess of Wales was all smiles as she arrived at Royal Albert Hall withPrince William, and the coupleignored reporterswho shouted questions about Omid Scobie’s new bookEndgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival.

The book has made waves since its publication on Tuesday, as it emerged that the Dutch edition is beingtemporarily pulled from store shelves. The translation reportedly names the members of the family involved in a conversation that included acontroversial commentabout the skin color ofMeghan MarkleandPrince Harry’s sonPrince Archie, now 4, before he was born. On Wednesday night, Piers Morgan shared the names reportedly featured in the translation on his show.

In separate statements toPEOPLE, whichoriginally excerptedEndgame, Scobie and the Dutch publishers said the names were an “error.”

Buckingham Palace had no comment. PEOPLE understands the palace is considering all options regarding the situation.

“Your Royal Highness, have you got a comment about Omid Scobie’s book?” someone called, as cameras clicked. “Did you watch the Piers Morgan show last night, Your Royal Highnesses?”

The Prince and Princess of Wales didn’t respond or acknowledge, walking towards each other and briefly holding hands. Prince William, 41, then put a hand on his wife’s back on the red carpet as they made their way in.

The Royal Variety Performance was adouble date nightwithCrown Princess VictoriaandPrince Danielof Sweden, who are visiting the U.K. for a three-day stay. William and Victoria, 46, are both heirs to their respective thrones, creating a unique opportunity for a special friendship between the two couples, who are around the same age.

While it was Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel’s first time at the Royal Variety Performance, the larger trip is a royal reunion for the foursome. The Swedish royals were guests atPrince William and Princess Kate’s wedding in 2011, and Victoria and Danielshowed their British pals around their home countryduring a tour in 2018.

The Royal Variety Performance 2023 - Prince Daniel, Duke of Västergötland and Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, Prince William and Catherine Princess of Wales

Members of the British royal family have long supported the Royal Variety Show, which benefits the Royal Variety Charity. Funds raised benefit entertainers across the U.K. who need help and assistance as a result of old age, poor health or hard times.

According to the organization, it was King George V’s wish that a member of the royal family would always attend the annual performance “to demonstrate the royal family’s love and support for the entertainment industry and its associated charity.”
