Prince Williamhelped make some magic.

“Would you tell me to stop?" presenter Joel Mawhinney asked the royal as he held onto a stack of cards.

Prince William then said, “Stop,” resulting in Mawhinney asking, “You sure? Change cards?”

Sticking with his choice, Prince William said, “No, I’ll stick with that one.” He then revealed his seven of clubs card to the camera without exposing it to Mawhinney.

“Put them back in wherever you like,” Mawhinney continued. “And now we’re putting you under pressure. You’re going to shuffle them,” he added as he handed the stack of cards to the prince.

“What? Can I shuffle my own way,” Prince William asked, leading to the presenter saying the royal could “shuffle in any creative way you like."

“This is not creative, this is the only way I know,” the prince said with a laugh.

After shuffling, Mawhinney told his royal guest that he could choose the “easy way” or “hard way," and Prince William quickly replied he wanted to opt for the “hard way.”

Mawhinney then told the person behind the camera to “call stop whenever you like,” before asking Prince William to open up his palms so he could place each card on top.

After the person said “stop,” Mawhinney asked if he should choose the card in the prince’s hand or the card in his own hand, to which the person behind the camera told him to choose the card in Mawhinney’s hand.

TheBlue Peterpresenter then turned the card over and asked if the prince had chosen the eight of clubs.

Thinking Mawhinney was correct, Prince William said, “I think it was, wasn’t it?” However, a person off-screen clarified that the prince had chosen seven of the clubs.

“Ah, it was the seven!" Mawhinney gasped, revealing he was holding the right card. “That’s good.”

Falling into laughter, Prince William replied, “Ah! You got me there, I was like, ‘What was it?’ "

“That’s amazing, Joel,” the prince added. “How’d you do that? No, don’t tell me. Don’t tell me.”
